Our History

Thirty years and two generations of professional, personal and award winning service. 
After their children were grown and gone, Dave Boldon, Sr. and his wife Faith moved from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area to their cabin on Prinel Lake in 1984 to change their lives and enjoy “the good life”. Having been connected to the area since Dave Sr. was a child, they knew the joys of having a family experience “Up North,” but also knew it wasn’t so easy to be a second home owner. Owning and maintaining a property from a distance wasn’t so easy in the days before fax, internet or cell phones. They started Sand County Services to be a professional resource for owners and provide property management services.

Dave Sr. was an active real estate broker in the Milwaukee area and Faith got her license soon after moving here. In addition to property management they each went to work for different real estate companies to learn about local real estate. In 1989 they decided to move from property management to a full service real estate company and founded CENTURY 21 Sand County Services, Inc. in Siren, WI. They wanted to be located at the gateway to northwestern Wisconsin and focus on waterfront and other recreational properties.

The company has gone through a few changes over the years, moving to a new building in 1993 and changing ownership to Dave Boldon, Jr. and his wife Wanda in 1999.The soul and direction of the company have always remained the same; to be the best and most professional resource for recreational owners and buyers.
