Just because the temperatures have fallen along with the leaves doesn’t mean it’s time for your spirits to drop as well! Grab your calendar and fill it with fun holiday activities – all happening in the peaceful surrounds of the Northwoods you love! Here are just few things you can do over the next couple of months.
November 1 – You’ll find a great variety of fine arts, crafts and food at Holiday Arts Alive on 35, 10am – 3pm at the Burnett Area Arts Group Center at 24540 State Road 35 and 70.
November 8 – Open skate begins at the Lodge Center Ice Arena! Every Saturday at 6:30pm, bring your skates and glide your cares away!
November 29 – Christmas tree lighting with caroling, hot cider and cookies at the Burnett County Veterans Park (at the end of Main Street in Siren) at 5pm.
November 29 – Lions Lighting Display with hot chocolate and cookies in Crooked Lake Park at dusk!
December 6, 7, 13th – A North Woods Noel at the Forts Folle Avoine featuring horse-drawn sleigh rides, a North Pole visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, live holiday music, storytelling, a silent auction, affordable shopping for kids at the Elves’ Store, lots of yummy food options and items for everyone on your list at the gift shop.
