I’m constantly frustrated at the scrappy appearance of our lawn. Dave likes that “cabin grass” look and I want a plush lawn to squish under my piggies. Since I’m not in charge of our exterior life at home, my vote doesn’t count. But alas, we discovered something very cool about our “lawn”. One day after mowing, Dave commented that the lawn had a peppery fragrance – specifically the creeping charlie that is rampant throughout the lawn. He wondered if it was edible. Well, come to find out, it is. It’s used in salads, much like arugula. He won me over with that discovery. I love to eat and now I can eat my lawn!
