One of the busiest weekends of the summer is proving to be just that again! Based on the traffic, there are a lot of people coming to the area to enjoy the many fun activities and goings on in the area and to spend some family fun Up North with their loved ones. I love seeing the vehicles packed with coolers, canoes and kayaks strapped to the top and open windows with dogs smelling the air. Classic!
If you’re venturing to the area for the weekend, there are several fun things to do outside of fishing and boating the hundreds of lakes and rivers. (As if that isn’t enough!) Friday afternoon, The Gallery in Siren is offering a wine tasting with small bites from 3pm to 5pm. Stop by to taste the wines they now offer and look at the wide variety of decor and gift items they have for sale. On Saturday, the annual Webster Arts and Crafts Fair will be going on from 10am to 4pm. That is always an action packed scene where you can find so many different unique items. Then on Sunday, you can head over to Fort Folle Avoine for their opening weekend wild rice pancake breakfast from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Pancakes in the woods never tasted better – especially when you’re being served! Have a safe weekend and enjoy!
